Day01

Fairbanks

Description:

Begin the most enchanting Tour of your life with the arrival at Fairbanks, Alaska, the most magical place on Earth. Today you can have the day to yourself. So, explore the Fairbanks downtown before setting out on the Northern Lights Hunting in the latter part of the evening. 

Evening activities:

Join us on our tour to one of the most famous Northern Lights viewing spots around, located northwest of Fairbanks, Murphy Dome. Today Murphy Dome Air Force Station (elevation 2930 feet/830m) is a closed United States Air Force General Surveillance Radar station. We will leave the city lights behind us in our spacious vans ensuring the comfort of each guest.

Highlights:

Pickups commence from 10:00pm.

Travel to Murphy Dome (20 miles west-north-west of Fairbanks, was once an Air Force Station, today still in use as a Long Distance Radar Station)

Murphy Dome climbs to 2930 feet (880 meters) above sea level

Witness the breathtaking Northern Lights dance across the sky (360-degree view) (not guaranteed)

Enjoy the opportunity to photograph the Northern Lights for everlasting memories.

Day02

Alaska Pipeline - Museum

Description:

Immerse yourself in Alaska’s, as well as Fairbanks’ intriguing culture and history. Peruse interesting exhibits and installations at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center. Learn about Alaska’s history at the Museum of the North, where you can find contemporary art, natural history and the intriguing sound room. We will visit and learn about the interesting history of Alyeska’s Pipeline and pay a visit to Santa in North Pole.

Slight variations to the sites visited may occur depending on time and season.

You will head out in the night for our Aurora Lodge viewing tour, we select one of the best Aurora Viewing Lodges in the area, to give you not only the best chance possible to view the Northern Lights, but also provide you with the comfort of a warm and safe area, complete with rest rooms.

Day03

Chena Hotsprings

Description:

Join us on one of our most requested tours to the famous Chena Hot Springs Resort.  After pick up, sit back and relax while being transported the 60 miles (97kms) east to the resort.  Keep your eye out as you might spot fox, beaver, or moose along the way.

Highlights:

Tour of the Aurora Ice Museum.

Relax in the healing waters of Chena Hot Springs outdoor rock pool or Hot Tub. (for adults 18+ only).

Warm up in the Activity Center with a hot beverage while waiting for the Northern Lights.

We will allow plenty of time for photography to ensure you will not forget this experience

Day04

Denali NP OR Arctic Circle

Description:

Drive to the pretty and picturesque Denali National Park, which sprawls across six million acres. Dive into the world of mystic wilderness at the national park, home of the famous Mount McKinley, the tallest peak of North America, at 20310ft above sea level. Watch out for the wildlife at the national park and go on short walk/hike excursions too. 

Denali park tour is a seasonal activity and it is subject to availability. 
Alternate plan:

On this full-day adventure starting in Fairbanks, you will cross the Arctic Circle, watch the Northern Lights, and enjoy the expansive landscape of Alaska’s untouched wilderness. You’ll experience Alaska like you have never seen it before while enjoying a comfortable drive and narration from your expert guide.

Please note that seeing the Northern Lights is not guaranteed.

Picks ups commence from 2:00pm

After pickup from your Fairbanks hotel, travel to the legendary Arctic Circle. Stop here to take pictures and receive your ‘Cross the Circle Certificate!’

We drive along the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, which stretches over 800 miles (1,287 km) through Alaska. You will learn the history of its inception to its completion.

Drive across the mighty Yukon River Bridge and stroll along the riverbank and gaze at the scenic landscape.

Stop and walk the 1/2 mile informative loop at Finger Mountain. Look over the Kanuti Flats below you and learn about the symbiotic relationship of the environment around you. (seasonal stop)

Cross the Arctic Circle and enjoy a snack and a hot drink.

Travel back toward Fairbanks at night, looking for Lady Aurora to make her appearance in the sky above you. You will have several opportunities to take photos or simply marvel at and be mesmerized by this phenomenon.

Gaze up at the spectacular Northern Lights as you drive through the night, arriving back in Fairbanks at dawn.

Fairbanks

Description:

It’s time to say goodbye as the tour ends today with a breakfast at the hotel. Check out is usually by 11am so book your return flight accordingly. Hoping that you have captured the best moments on camera and packed in a host of travel memories to carry back home with you.

I'm a solo traveler, can I still join the tour?

Yes of course, As all our tours are for solo travelers. You will travel with like-minded and fun-loving people who like to explore new destinations and activities like yourself.

I want to join with my partner or friends; is it possible?

No condition for fun! You can always join the group tours with anyone by your side either your partner or a group of crazy friends. We make sure to arrange accommodation and all other activities accordingly. Do you want to know the lined-up list of tours; please check our tour finder section for more details.

I am travelling solo, do I have to pay single supplement?

No. All trip prices are based on double occupancy rooms. You will be paired with another solo traveler of the same gender to share the accommodation. If you enrolled with another person, you’ll room with that person. Although single supplement option is available if you prefer a room for yourself. If you are interested in a single room please select the single supplement package while booking.

What are the accommodation options?

We offer luxurious hotels, budgeted motels, spontaneous camps, handy lodges and every other possibility at your destination.

What is cancellation policy?

If you cancel your booking cancellation fees could apply. A cancellation will only be effective when we receive written confirmation of the cancellation. If you cancel a trip:

More than 60 days prior to departure you will receive a full refund less deposit amount
Between 45 to 60 days prior to departure we will retain the deposit or 50% of the amount paid (whichever is greater)
Less than 45 days prior to departure we receive the right to not refund any of the costs paid

Do I need a Travel Medical insurance?

Yes, Travel insurance is required for all international trips. Insurance covers (and reimburses you) for things like trip cancellation, trip interruption, and trip delay, lost or delayed baggage, medical coverage, medical evacuation, etc.

Land in Salt Lake City & the rest of the trip is taken care by BLGT.. you have absolutely nothing to worry about.. logistics, campsite booking, tickets, planning is all done by them. Just finished 7 day hike to Mont Blanc. What a trip!! Great combination of wonderful hike and gorgeous scenery!! We... met in Geneva and started hike from Les Houches, France and finished at Le Tour. Went through France, Italy and Swiss portions of Alps. We have seen and crossed Glaciers, Rocky mountains, lush green valleys and peaks!! The weather was absolutely gorgeous except one day it rained with pea size hail for about 7 minutes which made it more interesting. Spent nights in Refugio, hotels and hostels. Food was very good with varieties. I had Veal steak, Raclette, Scalopini, Chicken Cacciatore, Fondue. Phillipe, our Mont Blanc trekking guide was very passionate and knowledgeable about Alps including every peak, plants, trees. He was very intuitive of people's level and helped us pace so we all finished trekking safely. Couldn't have ask for a better guide. The trip was excellent and the price was even better 👌read more

Took the chasing slot canyons trip. The slot canyons were amazing and the guides were knowledgeable. The slot canyon... hikes were advanced and highly technical on two of the hikes. I’m an Intermediate hiker and was able to do 2 of the 4. It would have been helpful for the guides to have some safety equipment with them like ropes.Most of the hotels were good except the La Quinta in Las Vegas was a true one star hotel.All in all, a good trip. Great people on the trip also. I would travel with bucket list again but ask a lot more questions in the future.read more

Very good value for money. Bucket List Group Travel are a small operator but provide tours around the US & the World.... Himanshu gives a very personalised service ideal for small groups of solo travellers coming together to share experiences. He acted as guide and driver with a hire van.We did New Year in Las Vegas over 4 days with 3 Americans, staying at the Luxor Hotel & Casino. The itinerary included Helicopter ride over the strip, socialising to get to know the group, Little Church of the West, Strat Observation tower with rides, New Year celebrations and Casinos, drive to Red Rock Canyon for hiking, 7 Magic Mountains stone art, Shark Acquarium, Zipline over Fremont Street, drive to Death Valley for Zabriskie point, Furnace Creek, Badwater Creek salt planes, Artist Palet, Mosaic Creek, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Star Gazing in Nevada, Gondola ride at Venetian Hotel, Indian dining.Very flexible and accommodating, great communicator before and during tour, and even on the departure day helped give airport taxi and accompanied to hotel exhibitions of Titanic, and the Human Body.Good degree of being part of the group whilst also sitting back allowing the group to interact and take photo opportunities while friendships were formed. Egypt trip 2019Truly one of the best trips I've ever had. It was my first time ever doing a solo trip. Himanshu gave... us an itinerary and a list of good traveling tips for Egypt months in advance. The scenes in Egypt were breathtaking and I saw places that I never thought I'd see. I got to experience floating over the Valley of Kings in a hot air balloon! How many people can say they got to travel via plane, train, bus, hot air balloon, and boat all within one week?! Such an adventure! The people I met in our group were so cool and accommodating, all with their own unique backgrounds and stories. Dancing on the boat with them while sailing up the Nile River is one of my favorite memories. I now have new friends scattered all over the United States. The tour-guides were so friendly and patient despite the fact that our group kept scattering in different directions taking pictures. If you're looking for a fun, stress-free vacation where you get to move around, meet new fun people, and immerse yourself in new cultures, TripNTrek is for you. Had a wonderful vacation watching the balloons ascend at the ballon fiesta. Road saucers down beautiful sand dunes at... White Sand Monument. Hiked narrow trails at Tent Rock monument. Motel rooms were comfortable with complimentary breakfasts. Easy going tour guide. Just an all around great Trip at a reasonable price. Hope to try another in the new year!read more

Group adventure traveling done right!!! Amazing trip, amazing people, and with an amazing group leader!!! Our Iceland... Adventure trip was extremely well organized, and any unexpected minor challenges were immediately handled by our group leader. I wouldn't consider myself a "world traveler" so naturally I was a bit nervous about my first time traveling in a group like this, BUT I was super impressed with how it all came together each day during our trip. Our group leader was excellent. He always made sure everyone was included and communication was clear in each one of our adventure activities. It takes a special skill set to accommodate everyone's situation with understanding, patience and a great positive attitude - and our group leader did just that! Trip of a lifetime.
