Description:
Begin the most enchanting Tour of your life with the arrival at Fairbanks, Alaska, the most magical place on Earth. Today you can have the day to yourself. So, explore the Fairbanks downtown before setting out on the Northern Lights Hunting in the latter part of the evening.
Evening activities: Aurora viewing lodge OR Murphy Dome location
Join us on our tour to one of the most famous Northern Lights viewing spots around, located northwest of Fairbanks, Murphy Dome. Today Murphy Dome Air Force Station (elevation 2930 feet/830m) is a closed United States Air Force General Surveillance Radar station. We will leave the city lights behind us in our spacious vans ensuring the comfort of each guest.
Highlights:

Travel to Murphy Dome (20 miles west-north-west of Fairbanks, was once an Air Force Station, today still in use as a Long Distance Radar Station)
Murphy Dome climbs to 2930 feet (880 meters) above sea level

Alaska Pipeline - Museum
Description:
Immerse yourself in Alaska’s, as well as Fairbanks’ intriguing culture and history. Peruse interesting exhibits and installations at the Morris Thompson Cultural and Visitor Center. Learn about Alaska’s history at the Museum of the North, where you can find contemporary art, natural history and the intriguing sound room. We will visit and learn about the interesting history of Alyeska’s Pipeline and pay a visit to Santa in North Pole.

Chena Hotsprings
Description:
Join us on one of our most requested tours to the famous Chena Hot Springs Resort. After pick up, sit back and relax while being transported the 60 miles (97kms) east to the resort. Keep your eye out as you might spot fox, beaver, or moose along the way.
Highlights:
Tour of the Aurora Ice Museum.
Relax in the healing waters of Chena Hot Springs outdoor rock pool or Hot Tub. (for adults 18+ only).
Warm up in the Activity Center with a hot beverage while waiting for the Northern Lights.

Denali NP OR Arctic Circle
Description:
Drive to the pretty and picturesque Denali National Park, which sprawls across six million acres. Dive into the world of mystic wilderness at the national park, home of the famous Mount McKinley, the tallest peak of North America, at 20310ft above sea level. Watch out for the wildlife at the national park and go on short walk/hike excursions too.
Denali park tour is a seasonal activity and it is subject to availability.
Alternate plan:
On this full-day adventure starting in Fairbanks, you will cross the Arctic Circle, watch the Northern Lights, and enjoy the expansive landscape of Alaska’s untouched wilderness. You’ll experience Alaska like you have never seen it before while enjoying a comfortable drive and narration from your expert guide.

After pickup from your Fairbanks hotel, travel to the legendary Arctic Circle. Stop here to take pictures and receive your ‘Cross the Circle Certificate!’
We drive along the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, which stretches over 800 miles (1,287 km) through Alaska. You will learn the history of its inception to its completion.
Drive across the mighty Yukon River Bridge and stroll along the riverbank and gaze at the scenic landscape.
Stop and walk the 1/2 mile informative loop at Finger Mountain. Look over the Kanuti Flats below you and learn about the symbiotic relationship of the environment around you. (seasonal stop)
Cross the Arctic Circle and enjoy a snack and a hot drink.
Travel back toward Fairbanks at night, looking for Lady Aurora to make her appearance in the sky above you. You will have several opportunities to take photos or simply marvel at and be mesmerized by this phenomenon.
Gaze up at the spectacular Northern Lights as you drive through the night, arriving back in Fairbanks at dawn.

Most of the hotels were good except the La Quinta in Las Vegas was a true one star hotel.
All in all, a good trip. Great people on the trip also. I would travel with bucket list again but ask a lot more questions in the future.
We did New Year in Las Vegas over 4 days with 3 Americans, staying at the Luxor Hotel & Casino. The itinerary included Helicopter ride over the strip, socialising to get to know the group, Little Church of the West, Strat Observation tower with rides, New Year celebrations and Casinos, drive to Red Rock Canyon for hiking, 7 Magic Mountains stone art, Shark Acquarium, Zipline over Fremont Street, drive to Death Valley for Zabriskie point, Furnace Creek, Badwater Creek salt planes, Artist Palet, Mosaic Creek, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, Star Gazing in Nevada, Gondola ride at Venetian Hotel, Indian dining.
Very flexible and accommodating, great communicator before and during tour, and even on the departure day helped give airport taxi and accompanied to hotel exhibitions of Titanic, and the Human Body.
Good degree of being part of the group whilst also sitting back allowing the group to interact and take photo opportunities while friendships were formed. Highly recommended.
Truly one of the best trips I've ever had. It was my first time ever doing a solo trip. Himanshu gave us an itinerary and a list of good traveling tips for Egypt months in advance. He is very organized and responsive so I never had any concerns. Everything was already taken care of. All I had to do was show up.
The scenes in Egypt were breathtaking and I saw places that I never thought I'd see. I got to experience floating over the Valley of Kings in a hot air balloon! How many people can say they got to travel via plane, train, bus, hot air balloon, and boat all within one week?! Such an adventure!
The people I met in our group were so cool and accommodating, all with their own unique backgrounds and stories. Dancing on the boat with them while sailing up the Nile River is one of my favorite memories. I now have new friends scattered all over the United States. The tour-guides were so friendly and patient despite the fact that our group kept scattering in different directions taking pictures. If you're looking for a fun, stress-free vacation where you get to move around, meet new fun people, and immerse yourself in new cultures, TripNTrek is for you. I'm definitely doing another trip.
